Just saw it this evening.
Entertaining and fun, good effects and whatnot, but …
Listen … what if it had been a John Carpenter production, starting Kurt Russell instead of Beau Bridges?! Don’t get me wrong; I liked the movie and will always be a fan of Bridges, but R.I.P.D. really could have been a seriously over the top cult sort of hit if it had a serious boost of Carpenter, that’s all I’m saying.
See it at a matinee or rent the dvd, it’ll be worth the money.
