Yuletide noms
Working on my yuletide nominations. Does anyone else write for Yuletide? I know one friend does. I'm not sure about my third nom, but I have the first two worked out.

Characters: Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl, Michael Stipe (Yes, I know he wasn't in Nirvana, but he had certain associations with them and I'm going for something here. I can at least try to get him through.)

Fandom 2: Foo Fighters RPF
Characters: Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins

Fandom 3: Not sure yet, probably "Miracles" or "The Following."
I already discussed Nirvana RPF. I may be getting into the Dave Grohl/Taylor Hawkins pairing from the Foo Fighters. At first I kinda turned my nose up at it because Taylor Hawkins is a little funny looking IMO.
I like the way Dave looks.
But this is Taylor.
Pornstache?? He looks like a Doobie Brother.
"Laurel, you're making me sad, talking about me like that."
But you look kinda like a hound dog here.

I guess he's kinda cute.
Then I watched some interviews with him and Dave. It was Taylor's personality that turned me around. He's kinda doofy and boyish and sits like he just wants to be all laidback and comfortable. It's endearing.
I saw this one interview where he was talking about living in the same gated community as Kanye and Kim, and he said something like, "Oh yeah, that's where Kanye West and his chick live," and I pretty much fell in fanlove right there. So cute and funny. The slash goggles became glued to my face on that one. For some reason, I keep thinking of him as "the kid," but that's silly. He's a year older than me.
Must have icons now. I think that's something I can do on this stupid tablet.
