I don't know any of those books, but when I was a kid I loved to read the books of that german author. He mainly writes children's books, still does, and he's very popular over here, but I don't think his books got translated or anything like that :D

OH, and one of my alltime favourite books is definitely the Neverending story which I first read as a kid too :D
