Is that what it's called? The stuff in turkey that makes you sleepy? I'm suffering a tryptophane coma right now, but I desperately do not want to take a nap because that'll seriously mess up my schedule, not to mention help me get absolutely nothing done today (same as yesterday, doo doo doodle doo...) As Crow would say, it's knocking me on my sorry Thanksgiving ass.
Went to my sister's today for after Thanksgiving stuff. It was fine. ::shrug:: My sister told a funny story about going with some of her fiance's relatives to doorbust on Friday morning, and how they watched the crowd surge for awhile. Apparently remote control trucks are some sort of rage item this year, so the crowd went for that first, and she described how all you could see was a sea of heads, then hands reaching up for boxed toy trucks, and how the stacks of trucks went down... and down... until they had been gutted like pirahna stripping a caribou. Her description and pantomime were very funny. I've been doorbusting with her before; it can be kind of fun, except the standing in line. That gets painful (sore feetses) and dull.
Suffering from roleplay withdrawals. ::twitch twitch::
Ah, I'm working on a character for one of my stories who is basically a physical embodiment of suicide, called Suicide, who lives in the Underworld. I need to cover as many of the most popular methods of killing yourself as I can cram into this character's makeup, so please let me know if I missed any: hanging, slit wrists, overdose, poison, jumping off a ledge, jumping in front of a bus/train/car, shooting yourself, and I guess self-electrocution though I don't think that's quite as common as the others.
