aol is stupid
I tried to post this yesterday, but I typed up the entire post and then my friend got online, so I tried to IM her before I had sent the post to LJ, and trying to IM her knocked me offline and lost everything I had typed. So I got really pissed and didn't retype it until now. Now I just want to say: I bought a discman yesterday. I want one for my Vegas trip so I have something to do on the bus, and CD's are so much nicer than cassettes. You can program them and easily skip songs, and listen to certain songs you're loving on over and over, all with little effort. The discman only cost $13!!!! I was REALLY shocked by that. I thought I was looking at at least $30. WOOHOO!!
The best part is it will play all my CD's, even the ones I made on my CD recorder. ^_______________^ As soon as I got home I tested it, and viola! Homemade CD playing in my ears! I almost got carried away and listened to several songs while walking around the house, hee. The only thing I have to get used to is it's really slim and has no belt hook, so I have to remember to hold it everytime I move around. I'm so used to my walkman which hooks onto my pocket or whatever that I'll probably stand up and drop the damn thing if I'm not careful. But anyway, the discman has the Digital Audio mark on it, which made me really hopeful that it would play my homemade CD's, since my CD recorder uses only those types of discs. And I was right! ^_^ I want to come up with excuses to use it, it's so neat.
Why is it that as soon as I start typing a LJ post, suddenly everyone and their dog signs online so I have to keep switching back and forth from the LJ window to the Buddy List window to see who signed on? QUIT IT.
