SPN DVDs
I'm Netflixing the "Supernatural" season 1 DVDs because I cannot currently afford them. I asked for disc 6 first so I could see the blooper reel.
First off, THESE DVDs ARE NOT MACROVISION ENCODED! ^___________^ weeheehee
Second, these are the things I learned from the SPN blooper reel and Day in the Life featurette:
1. There is an entire team of people who make Jared's hair look like that ON PURPOSE. O_o (Okay, it was more like one or two women, but still... wow...)
2. The hair and makeup team have had a lot of fun playing with said hair, as the funny pictures in the makeup/hair trailer will attest.
3. The blooper reel went too fast! Can we set up some of the clips so I know what the heck is going on? I mean, I understood most of it, but sometimes, the context was confusing, so it was hard to know the full funniness of the mess-up. In fact, I had to rewind it a lot to be able to laugh at some clips, they went by just that fast.
4. Jensen gets so deep into Deanmode that sometimes, it's really hard to break him up. Like, if other people get the giggles, I get the giggles. During those clips of Jared and the woman who played Sarah cracking up, I was giggling right along with them, but Jensen was in the room and didn't even crack a smile.
5. Jensen is freakin' adorable when he's all bundled up from the cold.
6. Jared's nose produces a lot of snot.
7. No clip of that funny story Jensen told about Tom Welling surprising them on the set. :(
8. Everybody speaks in a slightly deeper voice when they do their characters. Jensen, Jared, and Jeffrey (so many J's!) all sound a little nasal nerdy in their normal speaking voices.
9. Jared loves candy. Me toooooo! Unfortunately, it shows more on me. :D Does anybody know what those colored ropes of candy were that he was chowing down on? I want some! They looked good.
10. It was a pretty funny reel, but the bloopers for MST3K made me laugh about ten times harder. There wasn't enough of them. They had to screw up more than THAT.
11. I love bloopers. ^_^
Oh, and I really liked that first title sequence they made for the show much better than what they went with. Why didn't they use that? It was so neat! Although, I think they should have a real title sequence with "Wayward Son" as the title song and clips of Jensen and Jared with their names, like most shows have. I don't like this new trend of just showing the title of the show with no music for a few seconds.
