Which was fantastic! Running three days on only five hours sleep really sucked. I felt so much more rested today, such a relief.
Had my doctor appointment. She thinks it's too early to declare that I've got hard core high blood pressure, but I should get a couple readings over the next few weeks to see where it's at. I ordered a reasonably priced digital blood pressure monitor off of Amazon to do that. She also wants me to lose weight, which I told her I'd already started on (7 pounds in the last 4 weeks, yay!) She wants me to shoot for another 10, which I think I can do reasonably easily.
I gave a urine sample and I did have blood in my urine with an elevated white cell count, most likely a UTI even though I seem to be asymptomatic for painful urination which is usually the primary indicator. So, I've got three days worth of Cipro to knock that down. Joy.
We also talked about going back on my bipolar meds. She can't do that herself, so I called up the Behavioral Health folks and got an appointment with a shrink this coming Monday. I actually feel pretty good about that as it's something I've been considering for close to a year and kept putting off. We'll see if I still feel like quitting my job after I've been back on meds for a month.
