I think I was going to write this today anyway, but yesterday I grew to the point of massive boredom, so I planned on writing it then. I got lazy... That and I didn't feel like copying everyone since people put out entries then. I'm sure I'm not off on the right foot with this update, maybe if I switch feet and look funny for one step and it will solve the problem. No, that didn't work. Why am I typing this...?
I guess I should just do a quick recap on the week, finish it up with long term effects of the surrounding area and then maybe ramble my way into a suitable closing. I guess we'll just see how well I accomplish this feat when it is over and done with.
Spring break technically started for me after my Philosophy class ended on Thursday, but nothing really happened that day. I think I just ended up going to sleep extra early and trying to call people to try and make future plans for the break. Later I received a message telling me that communications were received and negotiations were successful. Saturday was also equally a bust but I did try and make time for random computer work and such.
Sunday I pretty much dorked out for the whole day with my friend Sara and went to Half Price books and looked at all the DVDs where it seemed that all the crappy ones just happened to be my favorite; so says Sara... After that we went down to the oriental market and ended up buying some very cute cookies and then some little ice cream balls covered in dough. Then we just went over to my house and watched tons of things on my computer. I figured out that day if I don't eat very much and then drink lots of liquids that I will have to pee every ten minutes or so. This fact as been noted for future events...
Monday I invited Sara to go with me to 'BTX' but we all know only people in Belton call it that to sound cool like Austin. I also got in contact with Joey and he joined us in this adventure. I think we ended up leaving Austin at around nine o' clock and got there around ten. It was pretty fun. I tore off part of the sign in front of Katy's house and tied it around my head like a headband kind of. I always thought that drunk people with ties around their heads looked funny so I wanted to do it. People assumed I was really drunk and everyone was telling me not to drive anytime soon. We then left around one or two and Joey drove because even though I had only a few beers I wasn’t really comfortable driving on the highway for an hour with the lives of others depending on me to safely get them home. I can't deal with that kind of pressure. Sometime during the ride back Sara decided that the headband would also make a pretty bow so then I found out that I would have made a sexy bitch. After Joey was dropped off at his dorm Sara and I decided that we were hungry and went to McDonald’s to get some food. We ate it at my house and Sara ended up making a sweet and sour packet blow up on my crotch. I have learned my lesson and this has become something I will not let her forget. So concludes Monday.
Tuesday was pretty much the bastard child of Sunday. Sara came over again and we watched two animations by this one director. Apparently he drew the first one we watched all by himself in the span of seven months. Pretty impressive stuff, but very sad. The other one we watched was a five minute short on the relationship of a cat and its owner from the cat's point of view. Very cute. Other stuff was watched but nothing to specific. We ended up going to HEB and buying some stuff to cook. I am a master chef! We had teriyaki chicken with extra veggies and rice. We got to eat the whole thing with chopsticks which are very entertaining to me.
Wednesday, Joey came over for a while and we ate some food which was pretty decent and then played Wario Woods which I think Joey is really forming a liking to. Robin came over a little after and we played with a giant ball in the backyard. Actually we played with two, but one of them didn't make it due to a corner in one of the windows puncturing it. The other one is now making my room even messier and I must figure out something to do with it. I fear that I may have to be forced to let it join its sister in its fate. Either way, enough about balls... We then went to Fiesta were Robin bought mugs and I attempted to buy really cheap tortilla chips but had no luck with the salsa. I guess in the long run it was best that I didn't by anything. After that everyone parted ways and when I got home I found a package in my room. Upon further investigation I saw that it was from Sweden and instantly realized that it was the book I ordered from litte-gamers.com. I read a little bit of it, but I think I'll save it for later. I don't want to get any ideas and end up copying it or anything.
Thursday was a big off day and I ended up watching some anime and working on the comic some more. I started the lengthily process of cleaning up the models and making a suitable banner for the site. This made me get behind on the comic that was supposed to be released on Friday so I did a filler instead with a cute cat in the strip. I now have said cat on my desktop bother me to work. We'll see how that pans out later.
Friday is today, rather yesterday, but since I have not gone to sleep I still think of it as existing on the same dimension as yesterday. I'm a dork... Either way, today was pretty good. After waking up at seven with a tummy ache and then gong back to bed thirty minutes later, waking up two hours later and then going back to sleep, and then finally waking up at 12:30 I decided to watch some anime and then eventually (around 4:00) decided to make lunch. During the meal preparing process Sara called me and asked if I still wanted to go to some shows today. I said yes and so in return for my 1337 driving skillz she would drive to my house. (This makes more sense in real life...) Lunch was eaten and it was good. Sara came over and we just had small talk until it was time to leave. We ended up seeing The Kills at Emos and they were really good. I was impressed. After that we tried to get in to see The Pillows, but it never happened. I was a little sad, but part of me didn't really care. Still, it would have been nice to see them; I guess I'll just have to go to Japan sometime to see them since this is their only American Tour. Food was consumed afterwards and we watched a movie at my house after that. It was pretty good.
That pretty much concludes spring break. In other news I found out today that I'm now in the 160's weight wise and I'd have to say that it feels pretty good. I still plan on losing 15 more pounds after this so we'll see how that goes. I think I started losing weight at the end of July and by the end of the first semester I lost around 35lbs. During Winter Break I ended up gaining 5lbs back but then when school stared again until now I've lost around 17lbs. Concerning school, I'm thinking of double majoring in Philosophy. I've read a good amount of books on various things concerning this field and I think overall I'm changed and not the same person you might have known. I am less tolerable of certain situations and might even end up avoiding most of them all together. Human interaction can be such a bothersome thing. The book I'm reading right now is book on intimate behaviour. It's really interesting. This book leads me to believe a few people I know have parent/child intimacy problems that are being hashed out with various people. I guess they still need a sense of intimacy and never went to the next phase completely. Everyone's behavioral patterns are becoming easier to read and I'm now seeing where and when I should focus my time. I'm just learning how to bypass most of that mess.
Now it's really late. I'm done with this entry and going to bed...
