alright, while we were headed out to have fun at our friend's house yesterday, miles away, enjoying the terrible weather and whatnot, probably not long at all after we left, a woman crashed into the back of anthony's work van. Well, let me start from our perspective...
we were off galavanting and having fun, and around 11:30pm, we got home and found a note in our mailbox from one of his co-workers saying "Your van got hit, might want to call the boss." He went out to survey the damage, a bent bumper only, i'm sure the car was much worse off, but we hadn't any idea of what happened, if it was a hit and run or anything, so he calls to his boss and leaves a message and i get on the computer to check in on a few things (like Jack O. Gallagher news, but I'll talk about that in a bit) and meandered over to our local newspaper's website where i noticed a "breaking news" bullitin (they've got a rather nice system where any little bit of news can be updated to the website even if it doesnt make it into the paper the next day) where a woman was sent to teh hospital ... well, here's the clip (edited for certain peoples' privacy)
A woman was taken to the hospital after an injury accident Monday at a Hayes intersection.
NAME WITHHELD, age and address unavailable, was taken to the hospital after she struck the rear of a pick-up truck stopped at a stop sign near Spiegel Grove, according to the Police Department. She then proceeded across the intersection where she struck a parked Cable van.
She was driving an Impala when the accident occurred shortly before 3 p.m.
So wow, i managed to find the info on a lark, printed it off just in case he needed proof, and then we went to bed. Unfortunately, they are still making him work today >.<

Fred and Sarah Gallagher had a baby and he was delivered a bit early due to Sarah being a high-risk pregnancy, but all are fine and healthy and no major deformities or sad girls in snow necessary! Best of luck to them all and Fred better catch up on his diaper changing skills.
I noticed something, though, although I've come across them all at different times and by different means, all of the webcomics I read, somehow, are connected. Hawk, Greg, Ian, and Fred are all friends in RL and this frightens me, seeing as how Ian is a BGSU graduate... XD only ohioans would get that joke, i'm sorry.
no, i'm kinda jealous that those guys get to have fun with people who know their headaches and issues with their chosen hobby, even though Fred is the only one who does it full time for a living.

Megatokyo (gets its own tab, lawl.) - The story of two loser americans in Japan. Fighting ZOmbies and saving seiyuu.
Cyanide and Happiness - Just... black humor and stick figures say everything you want to say, but cant.
Ugly Hill - monsters living their daily lives. and needing anger management courses.
Rebel Prince - Yay for amature Yaoi doujins :D
VG Cats - cats + vidja gmaes= teh win.
Penny Arcade - Boys + vidja games = much fun
Chainmail Bikini - Obligatory straight D&D webcomic, hilarious thusfar, but they just got started not long ago. from teh writer who wrote "DM of the rings"
Geebas on Parade - SOLAR LARP. nuff said.
Real Life by Greg Dean - wait, we write webcomics to ESCAPE real life, don't we?
Butternut Squash - A couple of canadians juiced on coffee.
Three Panel Soul (from ian and Matt of mac hall) - only 3 panels long, heresey :O
Head Injury Theater (Not actually a "webcomic" but it has a comic and fun rants about bad horror movies.)
Applegeeks - a boy and his robot and some psychotic applegeeks.
Punch n pie - the sequel to Queen of Wands, my old favorite, this one follows the life of Angela after Kestral moves away.
Octopus Pie (what?, i like pie.) - set in manhatten, a girl deal with her pot-head roomate and her messed up life.
Striptease - a webcomic about... actual comics. well, their producers anyway. man, those comic book geeks get all the hot chicks...
