Dream Forward THON 2009
I was so good this year, I didn't bug anybody about THON at all. I've even gotten good at explaining to people what THON is without getting overly gushy or mushy or boringly detailed. Tell people it's a two-day dance marathon that raises millions of dollars for kids with cancer, you don't usually have to say too much else. Give people the figures (46 hours, 700 dancers, $35 million since 1973) and they do the talking for me.
Obviously, the less I talk about it, the better they do.
Last year was $6 million.
God, I will never talk about THON again if it means this'll keep happening.
