Well, it is certainly understandable why simply causing mindless destruction would not help such a situation.
It isn't as if splintered wood and shattered glass would have that person returned to you.

If the subject was as upsetting for me as this quite obviously is for you, I would find a friend - pale or not - and converse with them about it.
Having someone sympathize or empathize with you can very well make all the difference in how one feels.
