As he's been knocked down via Johto's strange transforming powers, I see no reason to wait for someone as uncouth as he.

I may leave by morning, unless I'm given a reason to stay. I have enough money on my person to make it, anyway.

Well, it is certainly understandable why simply causing mindless destruction would not help such a situation.
It isn't as if splintered wood and shattered glass would have that person returned to you.

I did not understand, but I have a far better grasp on the situation now.
However, I still stand by what I previously stated.
Personally, confiding in another you trust about this seems a more likely solution for you.

...It's n-never really easy when you lose someone. No matter what you do, it's going to hurt--and yeah, you'll probably be angry.

But there's not really much choice except to deal with it until things hopefully get better.
