Thou Shalt Not Show Thy Ankles
I heard about this kid in the States who goes to this Christian school. Some of the rules include no rock music, no hand-holding, no kissing, no lying, no dancing and no "griping". Okay. So the kid went to his girlfriend's prom at another school and danced with her/kissed her. He got suspended. What the hell. Apparently now he won't be able to go to his own prom because of the suspension. He'll still grad, but not with all his friends.
How does that make any sense? The school rules should be just that: school rules. They shouldn't govern every moment of his life, regardless of where he is. That's ridiculous. I feel really sorry for him and I hope all the crazy CNN publicity helps him to have all this stuff revoked. :C
Lameness aside, I found these comic pages on a tegaki board. It's a TotA school thing and it's pretty awesome. For some reason, I'm just very entertained by everyone wearing school uniforms. (And why didn't Ion get a skirt? It's weirding me out.)
