Little blue-haired boy here, with a blue fuzzy cap on despite the hot weather, and a blue fire lizard curled up on the cap and watching people.
"Let's say you're going to have to populate an empty world, once you make it safe for animals. What animal - or bird, or even plants - would you really want to bring?"
"And if some of the ones you'd like are extinct in your world, and they're endangered in other worlds... is it wrong to take some of them from the world where they're endangered to have enough to breed and eventually populate the world in your own universe? What if you only take one or two from each world, does that make it better? Or should you try to find some world where it's early enough in history so they're not endangered?"
"I mean, on one hand you're helping save them from extinction from a multiversal standpoint by giving some of them new habitat, especially if the world their on looks like they'll make the same mistakes as yours and let them all die. But on the other hand, you're stealing some of an endangered species, which would mean fewer of them in that world and maybe they'd be gone sooner..."
