(no subject)
Even for first entries to the Nexus, this particular girl's entry is a little...odd.
After all, how many people actually come running into the Nexus on what looks like a black walkway covered in glowing red wires, looking constantly back over their shoulder with frantic gasps for air as if fleeing very, very quickly from something?
...All right, so maybe only the walkway part is odd.
And then, the walkway abruptly ends, and the black-haired girl in a short purple kimono and dark red bodysuit falls off the end of it, tumbling ass over teakettle with a yelping cry and coming to rest up against the Sign. "Ow!" she complains loudly, picking herself up and taking a few cautious steps on tottering legs, only realizing once she's caught her balance that...well...she is not where she just was.
"I...what the...?" She turns in slow circles, her eyes slowly widening in the way of a first-time Nexus-goer about to panic their head off. "Oh...oh great. What just happened? Where am I? Where is everyone else? This is - WHAT IS THAT THING?!"
Clearly, she just noticed the Sign.
After she's done shielding her eyes from it, she actually looks and manages not to wince as she reads it slowly over a few times. A question, huh? She can do that, she's overflowing with questions - most of them along the lines of 'where am I?', but she supposes that with a sign like that there, that question must be asked a lot.
So instead she asks, voice frantic, "How do I get back to Ar Tonelico? Lyner...Aurica...everyone...they need my help!"
