"Sometimes, trying to get someone to leave won't work. I'd be happier if someone was here with me but, unfortunately, since she's a soldier, her loyalty to the military and commanding officer has to come first." Ed shrugs.

"This is not the same. Papa does not want to leave the Citadel, but the government has demanded to examine all of the robots there. We can not allow this. Some of them are illegal and have been for a very long time. If the government were to find this out, they would be destroyed. And it is also likely we would be arrested."
"My brothers and the others that live with us will not be able to defend the Citadel if the Maverick Hunters are sent against us. There is no choice but to evacuate to the Nexus, where we can not be found. Or if we were we could not be attacked because of the field."
