She doesn't think about it. She wakes up from the nightmare still afraid, and activates the PINpoint to take her somewhere she feels safe

"Simon rescued me and my friends protected me so I think that that would count as feeling safe, yes?" Nia looks at Aya expectantly, she's still trying to grasp human emotions...or at least the names for them.
She laughs a bit nervously. "My big brother has always made me feel safe." It occurs to her that she didn't go to him when she was half-asleep and scared. "Bright, busy places like this."
It's been a long time since either of them have been in the Nexus, hasn't it? "Well I think you already know my answer to the first question, but I'll say it anyway. My family makes me feel safe. As long as I know they're alright, I could be facing death and not care. They're my anchor, as I've probably told you before."
"And honestly," Hughes continues, going into a faux whisper of all seriousness, "my mother-in-law. Ishbal has nothing on this woman, let me tell you."
"That's beautiful." Aya hold open her arms, implicitly asking Hughes to come and cuddle. "My family helps me feel safe too. Especially Ran."
Aya covers her mouth as she giggles. She makes a lock and key gesture to her mouth, and puts on a serious look. "I'll never tell. Promise." She starts to giggle again.
Too long if you ask him. He's rather missed the place.
And Hughes complies, taking a seat upon that ever-present couch. "I've met him, haven't I? Big fellow, red hair and such, right?" At least he hopes he got that much right, it's been so long.
"Good, because if she knew that, I'd never hear the end of it from her. Not that I don't hear enough like that already. She gives a whole new meaning to the term motor-mouth."
((I really need to bring Hughes out more *sigh* Good Lord it's been awhile, almost forgot I had him))
28 foot tall mauve and silver mech sitting against the wall. She replies in a voice reminiscent of a young girl's. "Being with my mom and dad. And thinking of my family or friends dying."
Aya's neck hurts a bit from tilting her head up to look at the mech. "Yes, I used to always feel safe with my mom and dad. I'm glad yours make you feel that way. And yes, thinking about..." She folds her arms around herself. "Yes."
"I'm Zoe." She lays down sideways so as to be easier to talk to. Up closer, it's clear from her face that something's making her feel sad. "Why don't you feel safe with them anymore? Did... did something happen?"

"Well, being around my bodyguard, Kaede, makes me feel safe, even if she is a bit boring sometimes."
Reply
"You have a bodyguard? That is yet another interesting thing about you.
"Making you feel safe probably more than makes up for being a bit boring."

Nia smiles at having Aya's confirmation. "What makes you feel like that?" she asks happily. Oh how her curiosity can reign her speech.

She will immediately cuddle, if he let her. She associates his smell and touch with being safe.
"Yep. Ran has bright red hair and violet eyes. He is rather difficult to forget." Or, at least, she thinks so.
She makes an amused sounding snort. "She should be grateful to have a son-in-law who is so devoted to his wife and daughter."

She reaches out to lightly brush her fingers over the mech's face, unless she doesn't seem to want to be touched. "Are you okay?"

"Oh," she finger-combs back part of her hair and smiles. "I agree. Friends are great for helping you to feel safe," she replies inanely.

"I think Ken likes me better than the one where I'm from, so...I guess that's good."

"Hidaka Ken?" she guesses.
