There's a bowl of water sitting on a table, with a goldfish inside, and a piece of paper taped to the bowl that says 'Sammy'. The fish is perfectly normal! Nothing special about it at all.

...except that it's yelling. Very loudly.

"Your Fishy Friend demands an offering! What do you have for him?"

Mornbein sniggers and drops a couple of Alka Seltzer tablets into the bowl.

"That is not what Your Fishy Friend meant!" And the poor little fish is bonking his nose on the glass.

"Well ya didn' specify." She snorts.

"Your Fishy Friend will be angry if you have poisoned him!" Because he has no idea what that weird fizzy stuff is. :(

Aqualad is probably one of the few in the Nexus not at all bothered by a talking fish.

"I've ah, got some shells?"

"That is acceptable!"

Aqualad drops the shells into the fish tank. "There you go, my finny friend!"

"Your Fishy Friend." he corrects, nudging one of the shells around.

The bronze lands by the bowl and tilts his head to one side inquisitively. The contents looks like food and smells like food...

...Food? :D

"How about a chipped off piece of a ration bar? You like ration bars?"

Zack earnestly digs through his pockets, pretty sure he'd stored that piece around here somewhere after proving to Cloud that yes, ration bars will only break on steel.

"That is fine!" He doesn't even know what it is, sadly. :(

Well, he's about to.

"A-ha! Knew I put it around here somewhere." He fishes (pun completely intended) the piece out, dropping it with a 'PLOP!' in the circular opening of the bowl.

The piece sinks like a rock.

Sealion smells fish!

But the big ice monster is disappointed when it finds the source. Sammy there wouldn't even make a mouthful.
