There's a bowl of water sitting on a table, with a goldfish inside, and a piece of paper taped to the bowl that says 'Sammy'. The fish is perfectly normal! Nothing special about it at all.

...except that it's yelling. Very loudly.

"Your Fishy Friend demands an offering! What do you have for him?"

Mornbein sniggers and drops a couple of Alka Seltzer tablets into the bowl.

"That is not what Your Fishy Friend meant!" And the poor little fish is bonking his nose on the glass.

"Well ya didn' specify." She snorts.

[yourfishyfriend]

"Your Fishy Friend will be angry if you have poisoned him!" Because he has no idea what that weird fizzy stuff is. :(

She snorts again. "I'm quakin' in my boots... wait, I ain't wearin' boots."

She looks down and wriggles her toes, then hugs Sirius and looks up. "You kin take it."

He swims around the bowl once before asking, "What is it?"

"Fizzy stuff."

[yourfishyfriend]

"Not poison?"

[random_xtras]

"Only if yer a belly ache."

[yourfishyfriend]

"Your Fishy Friend will be fine then!"

[random_xtras]

"Might even git shiny scales outta the deal." She watches the bubbles continue. Sirius is watching too, his tongue poked out in concentration as young babies are wont to do.

"...Your Fishy Friend would not mind that." Maybe this wasn't such a bad thing! Except it's hard for him to see now.

"'N y'll smell minty fresh." She sniggers again.

"Your Fishy Friend always smells his best!"

That makes her laugh. Hard. Yes, she is weird, why do you ask?
