There is a man in the Nexus.  This is, truly, nothing new.  Truthfully, the fact that he's talking to himself, muttering various incomprehensible phrases about the various injustices that have been committed against him.

This, too, is nothing new.

Heck, even the trenchcoat, hat, and silver-faceplated mask are probably nothing new.  Or, maybe they are ( Read more... )

"Because GI Joe doesn't want to play with you anymore?"

It's one of those accursed robots!

"Bah! GI Joe! Those fools? Setbacks! Just setbacks!"

"Dude, your voice is even more annoying than Starscream's. I didn't think that was possible."

(( OOC: It is Starscream's voice, actually. Same voice actor, and he used the same character voice for both Cobra Commander and Starscream.))

That voice! It cuts across the streets and squares and through the usual crowd of idiots weirdos in the Nexus... just like a certain other voice. A voice that was, in fact, based directly on this original.

Starscream pivots on one boot-thruster so suddenly he nearly topples into a building.

"YOU!" he hisses in the exact same, cold, shrill voice.

(( OOC: We've had an ongoing plot involving Victor Drath and 'Mr. Snake's' machine and the abuse thereof, in which Starscream was heavily involved. Also, in the context of that RP, Starscream was the guy who originally developed the modifications to Cobra's synthezoid-making machine to make it work on Transformers. This was sometime between 1986 and 2005, and was part of a deal between Starscream and Cobra Commander. Naturally, they double-crossed each other. Naturally, Starscream wishes to terminate Cobra Commander with extreme prejudice for this affront. ))

"Are you mocking me, you scrap-metal miscreant?"

"Since the physics of the Nexus won't allow me to vaporize you, cockroach, YES!" Starscream charges his arm cannons anyway. "No one double-crosses Starscream and gets away with it!"

"How can I have double-crossed you if I've never even met you, you space-brained excuse for a calculator?!"

"If they knew better, then they would not be so incompetent!"

No, no, see, the ones who know better won't work for you. That just leaves the shitheads.

He's about to say something in his defense, when a quick review of most of the former Cobra officers works its way through his mind.

"You just might be right."

To anyone who grew up watching 80's cartoons... or living them. "You! But how...?" The young ninja draws her katana. "It doesn't matter." Seems someone's not familiar with this place's funky rules, or at least the AV field.

He's really getting too old for this. "Aren't you sssupposed to be dead? I was certain the Dreadknoks killed you."

Okay... she's going to just ignore that last part. Her canon isn't even all the way through the movie yet. "And you're supposed to be a snake. That's obviously not the case... physically, at least."

And this mun is totally inventing gap-bridging continuity anyway. Plus Old Snake's kinda nuts.

That brings back all kinds of unpleasant memories. "I got better."
