When Ichabod entered the Nexus he was, as many are, surprised at his change of surroundings. This was not his house. In fact, it didn't look faintly like New York City. For one, NYC did not have a blinding sign intended for one to read.

"I would convince them if I could, or," an almost sneaky tone creeps into the monotonous voice, "I'd make it seem like they'd agreed to the people who actually did the work."
