What on Earth is that aroma coming from that portal? No, no, it's nothing disgusting. In fact it has a sugary-sweet scent to it, like a cake or something similar. Not long after a man steps through it, a bit confused look on his face but no real questioning or freaking out just yet.

Ali smells chocolate, and so wanders over to investigate where it's coming from. Oooh, yay cake! She falls to plotting how to steal the whole thing for herself (instead of asking for some, which really would be easier).

Now stealing the whole cake will get a very not happy Ono and that's a scary thing indeed. You know, except for the part where he's scooting a bit away from her. Never was good with women, nope.

She notices his scooting, and decides pestering him a bit before stealing the cake would be even more fun. So she moves closer, smiling brilliantly. "Hello. New around here?"

Oh that might be a bad move as he goes to dart away behind that couch. He seems genuinely afraid of her, blinking as he looks up from behind the couch. "Um, yes..."

I don't recall much of my childhood... but I wanted to thank ye for asking such a nice question! Too many people come into the Nexus asking about hurting other people, and it does my heart good to hear people asking about nice things. ::smiles:: And that cake smells lovely.

"Of course!" Always positive and chipper, sounds like a fun time indeed. And people are so nice here, too bad he doesn't know the truth. Quite quickly he fetches a plate from who knows where as well as a fork and cuts a small piece from the still rather large cake before handing him the plate. "It's usually better with a drink, but I'm out of my element here."

He pauses for a minute, "I'm not too terribly good with sharing my past one way or the other."

A blue hedgehog looks at the cake, then at the man asking the questions, back to the cake and finally back to looking up at Ono.
