Maddie floats gently down into the Nexus, she has a thick, leather-bound book with her, it looks very old and tattered, but she's poring through it as if it was her lifeline. Printed in gold on its cover, are the words: The Rose Family Line. She looks up and blinks for a little while not realizing where she is, before smiling.

She smiles. "That's great, Elisa. I hope I can have both, someday."

"I'm sure you will, Maddie," Elisa says, smiling. She studies the picture for a second. "Wow. Your mom was beautiful..."

She smiles proudly. "Mom was hot, even after she'd had me..Dad wasn't so bad looking either. Before he started drinking, anyway."

Elisa smiles as well. "Demond lord, huh? Pretty heavy stuff there."

"Yeah..mom was always telling me stories about demons and angels. She said she didn't have to worry about demons, because I was her little angel." She smiles wistfully. "She got sick one day, probably after she fought that Harash ting. Barely lasted the month. I was eleven.."

"Damn... I'm sorry," Elisa says. But a smile. "I know you'll do her proud, though."

She waves it off. "I got better.." She smile back. "Thanks Elisa. I hope I do.."

"I know you will," Elisa repeats. "Especially if you get some training under your belt."

She chuckles. "Speaking of which... I've found someone who might be able to help you with the sword training."

She smiles, chuckling lightly. "Yeah."

"Really? That'd be awesome!"

"Really," Elisa says. "It's complicated... But we've got a new member of the Clan with samurai training now."

[madangelgirl]

She grins. "Rockin'....Ew that sounds so weird."

[elisa_garg]

"Nah, 's fine. Katana--that's her name--and Brooklyn are runnin' 'round the Nexus anyway these days, so you might run into them before I get a chance to introduce the two of you."

She nods. "Thanks, Elisa."
