How do you stop yourself from developing feelings for someone?

Such feelings would be irritating, inappropriate, and impossible to act upon. This doesn't seem to dissuade them, though.

Big Bad Kakyoin: You can't. They're gonna come, do their damage, and probably abandon you when you need them.

*Speaking of feelings, red head didn't look bad.*

Trust me, I know all about feelings.

And don't even think about it.

Big Bad Kakyoin: I guess you could completely isolate yourself from the person you're developing feelings for. If you'd be willing to do that indefinitely.

*It was a bad idea? Big Bad Kakyoin's poor judgement strikes again.*

Nope. We're friends. He'd get way too curious if I stopped talking to him.

It was a horrible idea.

I don't know if you can.

Wait, who's doing the feeling? You or them?

Me. And there should be SOME way.

Uhm...I don't think so. Feelings're just there. I don't think they come and go when you want them to.

"I had the same line of excuses once. I ended up married to the guy in question. Er...probably not what you're looking to hear, though."

Definitely not. I really doubt he's looking to get married, considering his wife and children were recently killed.

"Reason and emotion rarely seem to intersect. Would it be possible to avoid this someone for a period?"

Well, he is dead.

"That tends to simplify things, in my experience. I don't know about you, though." He extend a hand. "Lt. Vasily Valedentin, ma'am."

He'll be back. Kind of like a cockroach. *looks at the hand*

Ah. I don't touch people. Sorry.

I'd say throw yourself into something else and focus on that with everything you've got.

Not that that's extremely healthy, but y'know, might keep your mind offa this person.

I don't have anything else to focus on besides work, and that just leads to insanity.

Well, do you like to do anything? For fun? A, a sort of hobby?

I do artsy stuff occasionally.
