The Goblin King blinked and studied the sign for a long moment, frowned, then shrugged it off. A question, eh? Sounded simply enough

"I am merely asking a question, nothing more." Jareth replies airily, smirking at the boy. Like he would ever explain that he has randomly stumbled across the Nexus and has no idea how to get back home.

Again with the hormones excuse. Jareth sighs quietly but listens. "But I can give them everything they ever dreamed of. I do all that they ask of me and all I recieve is hatred on their part."

"Isn't a Labyrinth challenge enough when one only has thirteen hours to reach the center of it?" Oh yes, Jareth knows all about spoiled brats and their unappreciation of what he has to offer. It was part of the reason that he does what they ask. Most of the time he loves watching them struggle with their own faults and insecurities. When one lives with goblins constantly it does get a bit boring.

OOC: I never knew how many Labyrinth fans there were lurking in the Nexus. Now I have a better idea. XD
