Peter sighs, head in his hands, sitting on a convenient Nexus Wall. Not a very high one.

"So, I finally have friends. Why do I still feel so lonely?"

"Closest I've ever had."

"More or less everything," he says carefully.

"I guess."

"At home."

[in_jubilation]

"Friends can be good, sometimes you want more than friends." Jubilee leans against a wall, "someone to share your life and self with."

[the_spidey]

He smiles slightly at her. "Yeah, maybe. I guess there really isn't anyone I can share all of my life with."

[in_jubilation]

"I know that feeling. And it can be hard find someone interested in you, that is willing to give it a shot." Jubilee sighs softly, looking up at him, "but you can not give up, right?"

[the_spidey]

He shakes his head. "It's not that. There are two girls interested in me, and I really like them both, but I still can't share my life with them."

[vicioussweetie]

"Have you told them all your deep dark secrets yet?"

[the_spidey]

"No. Do most people tell their friends everything?"

[vicioussweetie]

"Probably not, but their friends find out something eventually. That's part of what makes us feel close to people."

"Maybe. But there are some things that I just can't tell them."

An alternately clad Spidey swings over and crouches sideways on the wall Peter sits on.

"Cause its tough letting people in fully?"

[the_spidey]

This, surprisingly, is the first alternate Peter has met. "AGH!" He shouts, falling off the wall. "Who are you?"

[peterbparker]

"Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Petey." He chuckles.

[the_spidey]

"This is one of those 'alternate' things, isn't it?" He jumps back on the wall. "Do you want to, like, be seen together or something?"
