After being yelled at once again for making a nuiscance for himself, Kid Flash has decided that the Nexus is the best place to spend his time when he's bored. His short attention span along with his ADHD tendencies mixed with superspeed obviously isn't the best combination, and he is rather unintentionally annoying when he's bored

Kid Flash blinks, and then squints one eye suspiciously. This guy sounds like he's serious! "They don't work on me, hyper-accelerated metabolism and all... what about the 'occupying' part?"

Do stuff with my hands, work out. Build things.

"I tried that," Kid Flash says, runs off, then comes back again within a second, "but I end up doing it so fast, I have nothing to do again. And I can't work out too much, being bulky is bad for speed."

"First, I eliminate any annoyances that may be present." She's deathly serious. And yes, that's a threat, albeit a thinly-veiled one.

He blinks, not entirely sure who this is... although she fits the description of someone Beast Boy told her about. Kid Flash decides to wait and see if this is the case. "Well, I'm usually the annoyance" he grins, ready to run if he needs to.

"Yes. You are." She says this so definitively, despite this being the first time she's ever spoken to him. "Consider yourself fortunate I do not need to occupy myself."

The name's on the tip of his tongue. Terri? Something like that. He'll remember in a minute... "So, do you come here often?" Oh, he couldn't resist.

Well, I'm trying to work out this paint set Miss Victor gave me. But back home, I was generally the one that had to calm down the hyper people. Four younger sisters, three of whom are triplets and think it is a very good idea to play around with super strength and large, important objects.

[kidflashwally]

"Oh yeah? How're you finding the paint set? And see, superspeed doesn't come with super strength, I'm just fast enough to make up for it."

Interesting, anyway. I see. None of us had super speed.

[kidflashwally]

"Oh super speed is the best," he replies excitedly, "there's so much you can do!"

Fightin'.

Kid Flash waves a disregarding hand, "Oh, that's my job. I don't wanna do it all the time."

Can't go wrong with a good fight.

"Well maybe, if the bad guys get beat, and nobody else gets hurt."

Here's someone who won't find the hyperactivity annoying. If only because the blond boy is moving aroundin much the same manner, barely stating aywhere for more than a few seconds and fidgeting when he does hold reletively still for a while.

"Well, usually if I'm really bored then that's about the time Crash has some kind of idea and we start planning things. You know. Pranks. But Crash had to take a nap. So I was just looking around here to see if there was anything to do."

Kid Flash seems to think that it's so many levels of cool that someone has the same mannerisms as him. "You can never go wrong with a good prank that's for sure, and a nap? Bah."

Odds are it comes with the speed, though after meeting an alternate who's a lot calmer, this Quick has sworn to avoid responsibility as much as possible.

"Yeah, who needs a nap when you have e-tanks, but well, guess Crash has to sleep sometimes. It's not any fun if he dozes off somewhere inconveniant. Like on the ceiling with a roll of duct tape. He's my brother, so I can put up with it. It's just really really boring when he's not around."

He zips in a circle around Wally, curious. "So, how fast are you?"

"Yeah, I don't even have to sleep all that much at all, and I don't have those e-tank thingies either." Wally, however, has only his mentor Barry Allen as another speedster influence, and that doesn't really help at all. "Dunno, it's never been measured, but one time, I ran around the planet in like, two seconds."
