After being yelled at once again for making a nuiscance for himself, Kid Flash has decided that the Nexus is the best place to spend his time when he's bored. His short attention span along with his ADHD tendencies mixed with superspeed obviously isn't the best combination, and he is rather unintentionally annoying when he's bored

"First, I eliminate any annoyances that may be present." She's deathly serious. And yes, that's a threat, albeit a thinly-veiled one.

He blinks, not entirely sure who this is... although she fits the description of someone Beast Boy told her about. Kid Flash decides to wait and see if this is the case. "Well, I'm usually the annoyance" he grins, ready to run if he needs to.

"Yes. You are." She says this so definitively, despite this being the first time she's ever spoken to him. "Consider yourself fortunate I do not need to occupy myself."

The name's on the tip of his tongue. Terri? Something like that. He'll remember in a minute... "So, do you come here often?" Oh, he couldn't resist.

"I prefer not to." Probably due to people like him, but damned if she'll elaborate. Something about this guy is gnawing at the back of her mind, anyway. She'd have to get to the bottom of that eventually.

Terra! That was it! His mouth forms into a shit-eating smirk, and he leans against the wall. "So why are you here then, Terra?" Odd that Beast Boy hadn't told him about the mark on her forehead, though.

Oh jesus shit, this is not good. That name. She winces, then her face fully twists in pain. Her voice is angered and strained when she speaks again. "Do not associate me with that weakling. My name is Thirst."

Taken aback, Kid Flash straightens up and puts his weight on his toes, should he need to use his speed. "What the- Thirst? The hell?"

And as suddenly as the pain had appeared, either it's gone or she's suppressing it. "Thirst. Yes. And if you know the weakling, you may be of some use to me." Her hand creeps down to her hip, where she keeps a knife.

He's fully alert, top speed ready, waiting for something to happen. "I dunno what 'weakling' you're talking about, but don't be doing anything stupid."

"The girl. The girl you mentioned." Her hand pulls the knife from her hip, and she brandishes it with no uncertainty behind the threat. "Tell me what you know."

[kidflashwally]

"Uh, no." Quick as a, well, flash, he sprints up the wall and lands on a convenient high ledge. "I don't think so."

Oh, a wise guy, eh? She can deal with that. Sort of. Her hair twitches to life -- oh yeah, she can do that -- and of its own accord shoots out towards Kid Flash, not unlike several spears. But it stops considerably short. Whether that's because of her or not, well, she's not telling.

Okay, Beast Boy never told him that she could do that. He bolts across the ceiling and onto a ledge the other side. Now he knows - Terra? Thirst? - can do that too, he's very much on the lookout for it. "What are you up to?"

"You know the weakling. You must therefore know who I am." She's curt, snipping every syllable at the end and trying to give the impression that this should be the most obvious thing in the world. "You have some of my memories."

"Uh, no I didn't. I knew of her -- you, but never personally..." he's not going to bring Beast Boy into this, and sure, before he'd became an honorary Titan, he's known of her anyway.
