And, cue the knowing smile! "Ooooh. Green-hair-dude? Ummm...you just know. 'S a happy feelin'."

"That's very brave of you, I think. And don't you go denying that, girl." He looks stern.

Spider colours and tries to repress the blush again. "Sush, you. It was a hypothetical question. And, well, happy feeling isn't very specific. I have felt happy very often, you know."

"Hypothetical norm'ly means it ain't. Ummm...can't stop thinkin' 'bout him. Think he's beautiful. Stuff like that."

"You think you're not. There's a difference. Ask anyone around here, and you'll get the same answer."

"Ah, okay. You sap." He smirks and ruffles her hair with his healing hand. He feels very happy about this.

"Personal space, man. I don't like it when people touch me without permission. I only drop it if I know someone real well." And even then, it's still annoying.
"It feels...like the world is uncertain. You worry you're gonna lose it. You look forward to seeing the person, and you actually really care about what they say."

Spider doesn't really have a 'personal space', but knows that other people do. Doesn't mean he respects it all of the time, though. He nods. "Sounds logical."

The corners of his mouth twitch a bit. "Oh. Okay. That doesn't sound all that pleasant, though, most of the time."

Isamu gives him an expression meaning 'well duh'. "Love hurts a lot, and it's annoying, and you can't get rid of it even if you want to. But sometimes it's the best feeling in the world, so you put up with the other crap."

I have too many boundaries to list. Most of them involve men or touching. They'd be out the window for Francine, and I can't really answer your third one- I've had boundaries since I was too small to think straight.

It's hard for me to answer the fourth one, too. I'd say you feel a twinge in your groin and your stomach goes apeshit if you hear their voice. But I've only ever been in love, so liking? Eh.

"I might've meant in love, but never you mind. And thanks."

Francine is the most beautiful woman in the universe. I have no idea what that means here, but I'll stand by it.

"My boundaries are where things stop being good and start hurting people. If I had new ones...I'd do my best to get used to them.

"I find a good way to tell is when what they want becomes more important than what you want." She smiles. "So who is it?"

Spider nods. "Sounds logical. Are you always able to stop, though? Because that's a tricky boundary there."

Spider adopts an innocent look. "It was a hypothetical question, Ali. I was just curious."

"Oh my own? No. But I'm blessed to have people in my life who are strong enough to stop me when it's needed.

"There are no hypotheticals in love, Spider."

"Good."

Spider colours. "What if I said it was for a friend of mine..?" he asks in a small voice.

"I don't have boundaries," he said, smirking.

It was Spider! Spider was asking a question about liking someone. Suddenly, it clicked.

"It feels like being caught. But not in a bad way."

Spider fights down his initial reaction and instead leers at Jake. "You come here often?"

"Yeah. I do. You see, I happen to bump into a guy who I like here sometimes. So it's worth talking to a few crazies."

"And there are a lot of crazies around here. You must really like that guy, huh?"
