Spider no longer has his arm in a sling and would be happy to announce that he can carefully use his arm again. Needless to say, he has to celebrate this happy occasion by posing a question. Or 4 ( Read more... )

Spider colours and tries to repress the blush again. "Sush, you. It was a hypothetical question. And, well, happy feeling isn't very specific. I have felt happy very often, you know."

She shook her head quickly. "I ain't brave."

"Hypothetical norm'ly means it ain't. Ummm...can't stop thinkin' 'bout him. Think he's beautiful. Stuff like that."

She shook her head again, but she didn't feel like arguing. That was a first.

She laughed at the hug and leaned up to whisper in his ear. "You like a bo-o-o-oy," she said in a quiet sing-song.

Spider wrinkles his nose. "Don't get me wrong, I love kids, but I'm hardly the one to get attached to someone. Let alone kids of my own. I don't think I'd be a good example." He laughs.
