And, cue the knowing smile! "Ooooh. Green-hair-dude? Ummm...you just know. 'S a happy feelin'."

"That's very brave of you, I think. And don't you go denying that, girl." He looks stern.

Spider colours and tries to repress the blush again. "Sush, you. It was a hypothetical question. And, well, happy feeling isn't very specific. I have felt happy very often, you know."

She shook her head quickly. "I ain't brave."

"Hypothetical norm'ly means it ain't. Ummm...can't stop thinkin' 'bout him. Think he's beautiful. Stuff like that."

"You think you're not. There's a difference. Ask anyone around here, and you'll get the same answer."

"Ah, okay. You sap." He smirks and ruffles her hair with his healing hand. He feels very happy about this.

"But...I'm not." She shrugged helplessly. "Really."

"Oooh. This is hug-worthy, yes?" He admitted it. Ha!

"You are too. Sush."

"What is hug-worthy? Despite the happy occasion of you being here, of course." He blows her a kiss and then hugs her anyway.

She shook her head again, but she didn't feel like arguing. That was a first.

She laughed at the hug and leaned up to whisper in his ear. "You like a bo-o-o-oy," she said in a quiet sing-song.

Spider pouts. "I like lots of boys. I have no idea what you're talking about, womanfolk." He pokes her side.

"Then you know what it's like t' like one, yeah?" She poked him right back.

"In a purely platonic way, of course," he answers in an indignant tone. "My question was just out of curiosity. Ahem."

"Nuh-uh, don't b'lieve you." She sounded equally indignant.

"Well, think what you want to believe." He huffs, but grins soon afterwards.

"I'll b'lieve you now."

Spider smiles and hugs her again. "We'll see what happens, yeah?"

She laughed. "We will. When you two adopt kids from somewhere exotic, I c'n tell 'em I was there when you two met," she said jokingly.

Spider wrinkles his nose. "Don't get me wrong, I love kids, but I'm hardly the one to get attached to someone. Let alone kids of my own. I don't think I'd be a good example." He laughs.
