I doubt there is time for such a thing for us. And even if there were, how can one seek absolution for things that our duty demands we continue to do?
Our choices in such matters are not our own to make. We are bound to follow Master Wily's orders. Whether such things are right or wrong, it is not our place to question. *Crystal winces slightly, as if the topic causes him pain* And to ask for forgiveness would border dangerously close to questioning our orders.
*shakes his head* No, it is different in my case. I had the choice; I made the decision. There was no one to guide me... and that was what destroyed me.
*looks at Crystal seriously* You did not have that either, did you? Not in the sense I meant...
*stares at Crystal decidingly for a moment, then explains his world, how he is a Navi, what a Navi is, and that he's a special case because he didn't have or need an Operator at any point in his life... except now. but he leaves that much out*
((Dunno how familiar you are with the BN/EXE series. Does any of that make sense?))
*Crystal is very curious at the differences between dimensions, but still looks a bit puzzled* I still do not see what is the same. We, that is the other Robot Masters and I, have always belonged to Master Wily. I suppose it is like how the other Navis in your world have Operators. Only it is not so close a relationship. He gives us orders and we follow them.
((Vaguely. Enough to follow. ;) Most of what I know I've picked up online. Mun here too is confused about what Forte meant by the "You did not have that either, did you?" line, and I'm feeling like I'm missing something glaringly obvious. Which, since I recently had to give up caffinated sodas, I very well might be :) ))
*lowers his gaze a bit, unconsciously empathetic* I see...
((He meant "did not have that either" in the sense that there was no one to guide him or bring him up - a father or some sort of guardian who would show him right from wrong or shield him from things that could hurt him when he needed it. He was taking that in Crystal's perspective, guessing that he was basically thrown to the mercies of the world too.
I feel your pain. I haven't had caffiene in months. ,_,))

*He's quiet for a moment* That would not be easy, and perhaps impossible.

((Oh yeah, Wily's hardly 'father of the year', that's for sure. *tries to remove cotton wool feeling from brain*))
