Free Time
I've found myself with a lot of free time lately, and I've been filling it with lots of Thinking. The capitol is on purpose.
I've decided that I desperately want to see the world through the eyes of another. In all my relationships, whether they be romantic or platonic, I've decided the cause of all the conflicts was differences in perception.
I fear I will never know anyone as well as I want to. When I am friends with someone, I want to know everything about them, to understand everything that makes them an individual. When I look into someone's eyes, I have an insatiable desire to know what's happening behind them, and resent that I can not.
It seems unfair.
I want to think with a different mind. I demand more capacity for empathy.
