Star Drive

I don't know how journaling online fits into my life.

The things I would want to write the most are too personal to post for the whole world that happens to find me.

But anyway, it sometimes feels good to write about little things.

Wondering how Boston's new wireless pilot in Fenway will proceed. This one is going to be mesh. I wonder what topology exactly, and what equipment.

I found a compressor on the street, and took it to my workshop. I was on a bicycle at the time, so it was a funny sight to see me balancing this compressor on the top of my milk crate on my old three speed bike, pushing it up the hill.

It is a beautiful 80's Italian-made compressor by Werther. It is a super silent model. But it doesn't work. The motor runs and it sounds like it's compressing, but there is only a weak stream of air. I want to open up the compressor mechanism, but I need to get a certain 12-point star drive socket about 7 mm. I tried all manner of hex sockets and vice-grips and other things to open this open, but I just need to get the right tool.
