The Saga of the Car
I heard from the insurance agent today. Finally. The accident happened almost a month ago; if I want to be picky, I've been driving the rental since January 2, so that's 28 days of rental and stress. Now, when I'm feeling time running out, they give me a quote: $6820.25.
That's about double what I expected.
So, this weekend there is a police auction. There's a 2001 Chevrolet Impala up, sitting at $1700 right now. The auction closes at 2pm Saturday. I'm going hunting.
