Many were already gathered in the valley when they came. Everyone greeted them with big happiness; Rubus bow deepened before Robin, so his rapier ring. He gave her a burdock leaf abundantly with large, ripen raspberries, and said: “From the deep of my heart, amin melui hiril.”
“My lovely lady,” whispered Legolas in her ear.
Trientalis and Carex approached and hugged both Robin and Legolas. Robin discovered that she didn’t think so terrible bad about Carex, after all, because she actually was happy over that the reed fairy looked happy and safe.
Galadriel came and greeted them as well. The sorrow that always had been visible in her smile and movements; seemed to have left her and her pale face shined.
“If there is anything special you wish for I will see that it gets fulfilled. Think about it and come later to me and you will be granted that.” She said to Robin and then turned to say something in the language Legolas seemed to speak most in.
“Awfully, well done,” said Jacob encouraged to Robin and Legolas. “Mighty well done, you could say.”
Flagaria stepped forward, shining in her red dress, and Robin thought she looked like a queen. The red hair stood like a sky around her face, and her arms felt strong and smooth, when she embraced the both friends.
Convallaria and Celeborn, Elrond, Filipendula, Ents and Ennor raug* and unechil*; everyone came with gifts in there hands and thanked Robin and Legolas. A wreath of green hip, a cloak of cotton grass and bouquets of forest vetch and red cloves, lady's bedstraw and elanor, and all of the high summer flowers were put at their feet, until they stood surrounded of flowers and green leafs.
But the little Ulunn* didn’t know what it would give them. It has come from far away and hadn’t could bring anything with it. It asked for forgiveness with its little, little voice, and Robin bent down and let it creep up on her arm all the way to her shoulder, where it sat on its downy back and pushed its light green nose to her neck, while its long tail tickled her back.
Everyone sat down in the grass and waited for the sun to rise. Robin leaned to Legolas' shoulder and looked to the edge of the forest, where the birds sang. And when the first sun streams fell on the trunks, came a man walking towards the valley. When he went through the oblique beams, he became a figure of gold, spring out of the morning freshness like the bird song and the light. Around his feet jumped many hare with its long ears sharpen, and with his side tripped a roe deer. When he was nearer Robin saw it sat a bird on his shoulder. She thought it was a thrush nightingale.
