There wasn't much for him any more. He lost everything, his love, their child, everything to live for. They had even taken his money, at least most of them, and what was left barely helped him cope with the day to day life.
All he could do was to go back to much happier times in his mind. Though he knew the memories would never make up for what he lost and save him. He just wanted to join those he missed, those that been the sun in his life.
He wished every day would be his last. The last day of heartache he would have to bear. Nothing around him could make him want to live. Not alone. Not so hurt. Not any more.
Please let me be with my love ones. It was his litania, in between his memories.
