Get out the vote!
Just got back from voting. I'm still sick (STILL! ARGH) and stayed home from work, so luckily I could vote mid-day and miss the lines. Apparently it was pretty bad this morning, but I'm pleased to report that all went smoothly at my polling station. Now I need to stop stalking the news websites -- obviously there's no news yet and nothing worth reporting so why am I obsessively refreshing pages?! This day is going to be difficult. I think part of the reason I'm still sick is that I stayed up too late (working on Nano... I didn't realize writing with abandon could be so addicting!) and it looks like another late night for me with the election returns.
