Had our Investors in People review report back yesterday and we passed again!!! Because it's Ramadan we can't have a full staff celebration, but the girls and I had some gorgeous chips (from the most miserable chip shop owner on Earth) to celebrate - any excuse to indulge ourselves! Although I still can't understand why I was teased mercilessly for laying chips out neatly in a barm cake (it ensures a standard chip to barm ratio, and what's wrong with that?)
Also because it's Ramadan we have hardly any patients in; such a large proportion of the local population being busy fasting. We also have council workmen destroying improving the outside of the terrace that it's putting off passing custom.
The problem with that is that it inevitably leads to internet shopping, four books, my train tickets to Milton Keynes and two photoshoot sessions later I realised just how much I have spent just siting here and have only just talked myself out of a new MP3 player. Another day like today and my resolve probably won't last though.
