Finally finished a custom pony I started working on over a year ago..

I started this one so long ago I don't even remember what I used as a base. It was a G3, some really hideous pepto-pink color.
This has been, by far, the pony custom that has had the most comments from visitors, although most of them are along the lines of: "Wow...I've...never seen anything quite like that." lol
This is a favorite with my art kids, who watched his evolution in various stages. At one point I had finished the head and not begun on the body, and they thought it was hilarious to see that black & red tattooing over this cutesy pink torso.
The photos are not great. I had to use a flash, and the gloss varnish threw back all these pink and blue flecks and smears. His earring doesn't show up. I'll have to go out on a sunny day and retake.
Sculpted in apoxie-sculpt. The lightsaber is apoxie over aluminum tubing, with beads for buttons. It doesn't pass for machined metal, but its chunkiness kind of fits the MLP aesthetic.
