The relaxation of Thanksgiving break
Man, I go away for a day and a half and you guys update like fiends! I had a page and a half of new entries when I checked earlier tonight. (Which I guess is normal for me with all the fic communities, except that I normally check lj every three or four hours, so it keeps it under control.) I want to comment on everything, but there just isn't time. moonlessgarden, I will come back and do your positive things meme though! And there are a couple others I wanted to come back to (including your holiday wish list, lil_soleil).
But for now, I just wanted to stop by and say HAPPY THANKSGIVING! We had the Thanksgiving Eve service for our church and 2 other Lutheran churches in the area tonight, so my holiday season has officially started. If you're not in the U.S., well, Happy Thursday. ;) Hope everyone has a relaxing holiday. I'll be doing minimal lj commenting until I get back to school Monday afternoon, so if there's anything you particularly want my attention drawn to, comment here and I'll get right on that.
Also, a number of my lj friends and I are sending each other Christmas cards this year, and it's something I'd like to start up as well. So if you want me to send you a Christmas card, post your address in the comments (screening is turned on, so only I will see them) or email me at swbastien@smcm.edu and I will make that happen. :) Also let me know if you'd like my address in return.
Happy holidays! Off to bed now. Gotta conserve my energy for Macy's Parade-watching tomorrow. :D
