An awfully big adventure, as they say

This is a placeholder post to say that I've arrived safely in London! We spent ages on the tube getting to our hostel, and went pretty much straight to bed once we got there. Today we basically took an entire day to browse the British Library exhibitions, which was the best possible use for our first day in the country, I think. Plans for the next several days are still up in the air; we'll figure it out as we go.

I'm taking plenty of photos, which you guys will see in my roundup posts when I get back. Right now they're mostly of old books. :) I've also started buying postcards, so those of you who asked for them will be getting them pretty soon.
