The old lady in me is strong
So I think it says something about me that I went to game night at my church, which consisted of Outburst and Bingo, and had more fun than I've had in a long time. It was hilarious to watch the ladies at church leading the games, and debating rules and when to clear the boards for bingo and everything. Also, I won a cool DVD ("Lady in the Water") which was nice.
In not-fun news, my poor laptop Helen is having serious spyware problems. I'm at the computer lab at St. Mary's now, and they're running antivirus software on her outside in the tech services station. But it's taking a while, so I came in here instead. I hope this fixes the problem and my computer's OK. My laptop has been great and had very few problems over the years, but I was on an unsecure connection over break and I think that's what let the viruses in. I definitely won't be doing that anymore for a long while!
Yeah, so, back at school. It's quiet here. Gina just got back a couple hours ago, and Gen still isn't here, so I've just been hanging out. As soon as my computer's well I can start doing SMP writing that's due, and reading the syllabi for my classes (some of my only homework this week). I still only have one class tomorrow, which is sweet. :)
My books were almost $350, though. :( Normally I luck out and don't have to pay extravagant amounts, but not this time. I think it was the Norton Shakespeare anthology that did it. :(
