Honorary Discharged for Becoming Religious While Fighting in Iraq?

FUCK YOU. Fuck you fuck you fuck you. Fuck you. FUCK YOU. This angers me soo much. I just heard, on Democracy Now!'s podcast that a federal judge has ordered the US military to grant Conscience Objector Status and an Honorable Discharge to a service member who claims a 'religious conversion' in iraq made him oppose the war in any form. Private First Class, Michael Barnes, says he became increasingly religious after he was deployed to Iraq 2 years ago. Barnes is believed to be the first Iraq war veteran to granted COS for his religious beliefs.

fuck you.

I guarantee that the religion he converted to was christianity. I doubt he would get the same treatmkent had he converted to Judaism or Buddhism. Fuck that. What if he just simply opposes it? Why does his religious beliefs matter? Suppose an atheist deeply opposed fighting in the war? Would he be granted COS and be HDed? Fuck that. That pisses me the fuck off
