Blah, Blah, Blah...

Well, well, well...(you never can tell...),

So I'm all moved into my new place...full of happiness and grace...or maybe just poor taste? Hmmm...I'm melting poetic.

So Hamtramck...what a fun town. I actually like it here...it's very....hmmm...homey. Warm. I like the house soooooo much more than my apartment. We have a sophisticated aire about us here (aside from the red-lit room in back). It screams, "GAY LIVE HERE!" It really does. But my low-class style is making sure that no one mistakes our orientations. :-P

Hamtramck, I also find out, is likely to give me cancer before I leave:-( Detroit has one of the largest solid waste incinerators in the world, and unlike other locations that have these large incinerators, Detroit built it in an urban center instead of far, far rural, as would have been intelligent. That's a couple of mile away from my new place. On top of that, the actual city of Hamtramck, as marvelously small as it is, manages to hold the distinction of being home to the only running medical incinerator in the state of Michigan. Medical incinerators are one of the larges sources of Mercury (aside from, of course, coal plants). Not only that, but this particular plant has failed, EVERY year, to be compliant we standards that took effect about ten years ago, and is IN THE PROCESS of being shut down, but has not yet been. Marvelous. By the time I leave here, I'll have cancer and be retarded.

But, all in all, despite the incredible odd/crammed schedule that I'm doing right now (self-studies + moving + power outage taking out 2 days of class), I'm fairly content with life at the moment. There is absolutely nothing good to look forward to in the next 2 months, but I'm running full speed ahead anyway, daring anything to try and stop me.

Life is not good...but I am:-)

PS. If you haven't seen Ashley Simpson getting booed at the Orange Bowl...you are missing out on life.
