I went to the library for the first time in too-long a while. I got several books, but was surprised a lot of the ones (mostly were pretty unknown) I looked for were checked out/misplaced on some shelf. But I got enough to get me through the Maine trip. Ben and I will have to duke it out for the hammock.
Then we all trekked to REI to get stupid insoles for my stupid hiking shoes, because my stupid feet have to have stupid support or they have serious (but stupid) problems. (Shall we all recall TRACK SEASON) Got em, and I slept in the car on the way to Great Outdoor Provisions, Co. Nice folks, there. Worth the trip - more personal service than REI. (And way cheaper) Ben ordered his pack. It's big and green, and I bet you money I could fit myself inside of it. And make him carry me around.
I also got way too intense about Tony Hawk today. Oh N64 is the greatest - the only gaming system I like. Advanced enough to be fun, but not too hi-tech to be stupid. Anyways. I suck at it, but only because Ben uses cheats and codes. Sucka
So I decided not to run today. Stayed home and read Harry Potter instead. (Which I haven't had a chance to read, so NO I'm not done yet. Yes, it has been 4 days. I know, I suck at life for that one. Or maybe I win for HAVING A LIFE) But it is really good. Worth skipping a run. (It was a billion degrees anyway)
I sort of miss school. No, that's a lie. I do miss the folks, though. For the most part
I also helped Ben ice a cake for Jennyrae. Because he's a horrid ice-er.
Right, time for more Potter, methinks
