Monday I started a cleanse.
16oz of prune juice (I'm doing plum) first thing in the morning.
8oz of apple juice and 8oz of water, alternating every 30 minutes.
You can have an apple if you absolutely need one.
I was good the first day. I didn't even get a craving until like 9pm. I had a few grapes around 10:30 because that's the only fruit we had.
This morning my body wanted to get up early, but lazy me wouldn't let it.
I didn't get up until 12:30 and I felt like total shit. I wish I had gotten up the first or even second time my body tried to wake me up.
I drank most of the plum juice and a cup of water because I felt like the juice was making me sick.
I got in the shower, every move I had felt so surreal. Like I moved before I thought about moving or without thinking about it at all. When I got out I felt like death. I got a cup of apple juice and forced myself to drink it. It took about an hour to get it all down. Every sip I felt like I was going to throw up, pass out in my vomit and drown in it.
I asked Julien to pick up some fruits and vegetables on his way home.
I decided to eat a cucumber instead of a plum or apple.
I soon remembered I find cucumbers totally disgusting.
Oh well, at least I can sit up without blacking out.
I've decided not to do the cleanse for 3 days. Tomorrow I will reintroduce solids as the main part of my diet. I'll stick to fruits and vegetables and Thursday I will add in grains. I'm not sure when I wanna eat meat again.
I definitely don't want to go back to eating the same way. I often eat too much sugary or processed food just out of laziness. I'm gonna keep that to a minimum.
I just bought some unprocessed flour so I'm gonna bake stuff from scratch using that instead of premade stuff.
So I might not be doing the cleanse right but I do think it's going to help make the foundation for me eating healthy.
