Veronaville Asylum: Day One - Afternoon

Dec 01, 2008 01:14

The fighting subsides as the residents of Veronaville Asylum settle down to lunch. How long will the peace and quiet last?

The afternoon progresses with promise as Goneril fraternises with the enemy.

Too good to be true? Of course…

Tony finds himself between a rock and a hard place, and eventually settles for enjoying the show.

Even when it’s his own side that gets kicked into touch.

Here we go again - who is it this time?

I swear these two fight more than any other pair in this place.

And despite the excessive body skill boasted by the red head, it seems to be an even match.

Tony: Blow that for a laugh, better start earning the pennies I suppose. I can’t believe that guy wants me to go into building when I’ve been cooking my whole life.

Juliette: Nice work on that twerp, bro!

Ty: Thanks sis!

Then, after she tries to initiate a pillow fight or three with him, civil war breaks out…

As if things weren’t complicated enough! What happened to standing together and all that malarkey?

Still, I guess the fact he’d kicked her boyfriend’s arse doesn’t help matters.

As nighttime falls, Goneril and her new friend decide to have a water balloon fight, just as it starts to rain.

While inside, yet another fight is breaking out between the teenagers.

Just like last time, the victory lies in the red corner.

After kicking lover boy, he turns on the girl. Again.

Meanwhile, things start to heat up outside as Bianca finds her foe.

Goneril walks off to lick her wounds as Ty leaves the other teens inside - to return the favour for Bianca.

Ty: I know she’s family, but nice work!

Bianca: Heh, thanks - although I’m getting a sense of déjà vu

Voice: Hey, carrot-head! I’ve got a bone to pick with you…

Ty: Again?! This is getting old, lover boy…!

Gon: Guys, please, enough now!

Ty: You never learn, do you?!

Romeo: Ow… I’ll get you one of these days, mark my words!

Tony: Oh, he should be free by now, I’ll just get him

While Ty chats to his friend Puck, Romeo serves dessert while still fuming over his latest confrontation.

Some time later, all breathe a huge sigh of relief as the beds start to fill. Tony decides to catch forty winks in the recliner…

… while Romeo discovers the fish tank. After a spicy start like this, such a peaceful pastime has never been more welcome.

Especially when part of your family starts getting on with your mortal enemy.

With Tony energised enough to leave the recliner free, Romeo is quick to take his place. As peace finally descends on the asylum, Ty starts to notice the quiet very quickly.

Ty: Argghh! Come back Romeo! I’m bored out of my mind!!

Ty may be the more serious type, but he can lighten up when he needs to. It’ll take more than swinging on the fridge to tame this lively lot though…
