Not Thinking, Just Wondering
Was at a store but couldn't remember what I wanted to buy. I had something in my hands at checkout, but realized it wasn't anything I actually wanted. I set it down but stayed in line before realizing I was an idiot. I saw mom a few registers down (it was very far away though) and hoped she wouldn't see me. I went out to the car and realized we had rode together, so I moved the car so she'd have less distance to walk when she got out of the store. When she came out, I drove closer, she said something less than nice, and away we went. I think she showed me some checks (though I vaguely recall seeing them on her kitchen counter) and said they weren't real, so don't cash them. There were two checks, one for $300~ and one for $3000~ made out to Sandie. I was like, damn, Sandie's making nearly $4000/wk with overtime?
