(10/23)
I was digging through the fridge looking for a quick dinner. I feel like I had to be at work in an hour or two. I couldn't find what I wanted, so I was going to have to make something from scratch, or some leftovers I didn't care for. Crouched down, I saw we had three bags of potatoes on the bottom left side of the fridge. Dad was there, so I said, "Oh uh... We have three bags of potatoes." He asked if they were all full. They mostly were. I went through the bag at the back first to see if any of them were salvagable, then the second bag. I was going to attempt to eat pieces of one or two, but said nah and threw away the two oldest bags. The kitchen window facing the driveway allowed me to see a car pull in behind the swingset, close to the hill. Note: There is no part of the driveway that goes back there :| Two teenage (18~) girls and a younger girl were walking up to the house. I went to the dining room to tell Dad two blondes were coming up to the house, thinking they were kids from his class (apparently he was in... college?), but he just gave me a confused look. So, I went to the door as Dad followed and opened the storm door just enough to poke my head out.
"Can I help you?"
"We want to come in and change."
"You stopped here to change?"
"Our brother wants us to change because we got a little sweaty."
I turned to Dad and said, "These girls want to use our restroom to change clothes because they got a little sweaty..."
At this point the little girl was no longer there, and I was highly suspicious of the two teenagers. They looked like they were up to no good, and they hesitated when giving their reason for wanting to change, so I said:
"Listen. You stay in what you already have on and tell your brother to stop being a bitch."
The one on the left took offense and said, "He's not like that!"
I scoffed, because clearly he was if he didn't want to get a little sweat on his car's interior.
"I'm not allowing you to come into this house. Town is five minutes that way; You can find plenty of public areas to change."
I shut them out, though in the back of my mind I was afraid they'd do some property damage out of spite.
