1. It has been a strange week up here in the Pacific NW! Dry, clear, cold, and WINDY. We've had steady 30 mph winds for days now, gusts around 60 mph (around 100 kmph for all y'all on that lovely rational metric system). ;_; omg, fucking hormones. I have cried at everything over the last few days (tv adverts, Ice Age the movie, our kittens snuggling, writing an important list to someone important) and now many points of your SGA meme. Especially the last one. If you two get married, can I come and bawl my eyes out in the back row?

I was pretty close to weeping this morning, though that was mostly the twenty minutes waiting around in below freezing temperatures in gale force winds (who ever coined the phrase "mild winters" should be executed in a very painful manner ( ... )

I have concluded that Angel is my favorite Joss Whedon show, if only because everyone hates themselves so much.

I joke about being in fandom for the angst, but I REALLY REALLY am - Wes is one of my favorite character anywhere because I've never seen anyone hate himself quite that much! And then you've got Angel and Fred (and all her issues) and Gunn (and all his issues) it's just this trainwreck of broken, broken people. Nearly everyone on Firefly is too well adjusted for me to want to fix them (or too crazy for me to know how to start)

Intersections was actually the second fic I read in SGA - I was such a newbie that I didn't even realize that they were the fandom classics. I was rather embarrassingly happy to find a fandom where there was math in fanfic!
